From a bar and a dock to a whole desktop.
Lucid started as a bar and a dock on Quickshell. Every release since has taken over another part of the desktop: widgets on the wallpaper, a settings app that runs the machine, and finally the lock screen, the password prompt and the login screen, so nothing looks borrowed.
It is built in the open. People open issues and pull requests on the public repo, and their work ships in the next release with their name on it.
